At the last Your Edible Garden meeting, John Walker talked about online garden planning resources.
Here is the list of recommended sites:
Kitchen Gardeners International (http://kgi.org/) They have a kitchen garden planner free for 1 month then $25 a year.
Phil Smiling Gardener (http://www.smilinggardener.com/) Very organic, a lot of his information is about building soil. Lives in Canada, which means a different climate to KY.
University of Maryland Extension (http://www.agnr.umd.edu/Extension/gardening/growit/FoodGardeningVideos/). I guess most universities have sites like this. Some might be more snazzier than others.
UK extension publications (http://www.ca.uky.edu/agcomm/pubs.asp). See also the garden data link (http://gardendata.org/)
ID-128 Home Vegetable Gardening in KY (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29519918/id128.pdf)
Johnny’s Seeds interactive tools (http://www.johnnyseeds.com/t-InteractiveTools.aspx)
Soil and Health library (http://www.soilandhealth.org/) Steve Solomon’s site. Lots of free books from the last century or even millenia.
