2023 was the first year we started gleaning in North Central Kentucky, and I am very proud of our accomplishments.
We made new connections with many farmers, grocers, food pantries, community organizations, government agencies, volunteers, and supporters across this region. We rescued fresh produce and helped nourish families in need. Together we have gleaned and distributed 11,812 pounds of fresh produce to families in Oldham, Henry, and Jefferson counties in 2023. Thank you for being part of the team!
I want to give a shout out to each of our produce donors and recipient organizations who took the leap to trust us and do good work together last year.

In 2024, we look forward to more connections, more growth, and much more food recovered and redistributed to our neighbors in need. In this spirit of transition, I am leaving Glean Kentucky this month to pursue another career opportunity. Glean Kentucky is now hiring for a new NCKY regional field coordinator. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about this position, please click HERE or email hiring@gleanky.org.
