GleanKY serves over 60 recipient sites in four counties. Although it is difficult to select just one site, this month we want to highlight the incredible work that Blue Grass Farm Charities does on behalf of those individuals working in the Thoroughbred racing industry. This admirable nonprofit organization is “devoted to providing health and human services to people working in all aspects of the Thoroughbred Industry in Central Kentucky.” Many of the individuals served are food-insecure and, were it not for partnership between GleanKY and Blue Grass Farm Charities, would not have regular access to fresh, healthy produce.
