The GoodGiving Guide Challenge Starts Today at 8 a.m.!
It is opening day of the GoodGiving Guide Challenge and TODAY WE NEED YOUR HELP to win $7,500! There’s a lot of competition, but we can do it – last year, we finished 12th among 68 nonprofits, exceeded our $10,000 goal and tied 2nd place for most donors under 36 years old. Quite an accomplishment for our small grass-roots organization – and only because of you!
To win a $7,500 endowment at the Blue Grass Community Foundation, we must be one of the first 10 nonprofits to raise $7,500 and have at least 50 donors. Gleaning is a mission that works! We’ve gleaned over 90,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables this year – about 360,000 servings . Help it grow!
The Challenge runs November 1 – December 31 with over 100 participating nonprofits in the Lexington area. Each week there are incentives for those who give and for the receiving nonprofits. You can follow along by watching the leaderboard at www.goodgivingguide.net
