Earlier this month, we celebrated with our 2012 End of Year Appreciation party – The Gleaners’ Gala!
We are thankful to our sources, our gleaners and our recipient organizations for making gleaning a success and getting needed food to people in our community.
This year, our 200 gleaners have gathered almost 67,000 pounds, donated by our 14 sources and delivered to 29 recipient organizations, programs, or neighborhoods, feeding thousands of people hungry in our community. Bringing our total since June 2010 to 177, 372 pounds!
