The air is crisp
the branches nearly bare
but you can still find apples here and there

Gleaning an orchard
so others can eat

Can you believe
people still live on the street?

It doesn’t seem right
when we have so much

On things we rely
sort of like a crutch

To get more and more
is what we’ve been taught

 take only what we need
 to learn, we ought

I like the idea of planting a row
to toil and seed
and then let it go!

Call Faith Feeds
they’ll take it away

then give your extra
to those who can’t pay

We’ve got a solution
not everything is store bought

providing fresh food
that would otherwise rot

Believe there’s an answer
we are here to serve

No one should go hungry
for food they deserve.
